BIPOC Communities
As a team of identifying and affirming BIPOC clinicians, we understand that healing is deeply connected to culture, identity, and lived experience. We recognize how systemic oppression, racial trauma, and intergenerational wounds can impact emotional and relational well-being. Our team provides culturally responsive, trauma-informed care that honors each client’s unique background and story.

Clients often find it empowering to work with therapists who “get it”—who understand the nuances of code-switching, belonging, and resilience within communities of color—and who create a safe, affirming environment for authentic healing and growth.

We integrate approaches such as EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Somatic Experiencing (SE), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to support healing on multiple levels. EMDR helps reprocess and release distressing memories linked to experiences of discrimination or trauma. SE restores a sense of safety and regulation in the body, addressing how stress and racialized experiences are carried somatically. CBT provides practical tools to identify and shift internalized beliefs or thought patterns shaped by systemic bias and oppression.

Together, these methods allow clients to move toward greater empowerment, self-acceptance, and wholeness. We hold space for both individual and collective healing, celebrating the resilience, creativity, and strength that exist within BIPOC communities.
