Julianne G. Bohnenkamp, LCSW

Headshot of Julianne Bohnenkamp

I am a Houston, TX Licensed Clinical Social Worker (TX: 104226) clinician, who has worked within the nonprofit, immigration provider sphere since 2020. I have worked with a variety of ages and concerns, all with a goal of providing a safe environment to explore your presenting emotions and build coping skills to handle future situations.

My focus of practice is trauma and grief, and I am particularly experienced in working with women, female presenting, and children regarding traumatic and distressing past experiences.

I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) which allows me to guide clients through a carefully structured modality that processes past and present trauma, triggers, and inhibitions.

I utilize assessments, open-ending questions, and an empathetic approach in our sessions, all in the effort to build rapport and provide a space where clients feel comfortable to explore their most vulnerable concerns.

I am currently available for virtual sessions.

I am in network with Aetna & Cigna. I offer reduced self pay options and offer a sliding scale for a limited number of clients at a time.
