The ALL UNIQUE AND ALL EQUAL group is a safe space where all girls are treated with respect. 

Teenage girls are some of the most incredible, creative and bright people on our planet. Yet they experience unique challenges from a variety of sources: school, parents, friends, relationships, and peers - even themselves, in the form of their own thoughts of self worth / self esteem, short and long term goals, and how they perceive expectations placed on them by others in their life. 

Many teen girls share that they have tried different methods of working through these challenges but find themselves stuck and unsure how to move forward. The ALL UNIQUE AND ALL EQUAL group is designed to help teenage girls ages 14 and 15 cope more effectively with the multiple challenges in their lives.

Although no one can make the world challenge-free, teenagers can learn effective and fun techniques for reducing difficulties, increasing self-worth and general over all confidence with life and relationships. 

My hope is that each teen will build trusting relationships with one another, while they learn ways to improve self esteem and identify and strengthen coping skills for the challenges that they have. 

During our time together:

• We will focus on how to build and maintain positive friendships

• How to create safe and supportive relationships with family, friends and others

• How to form a more positive outlook so that you can increase self-worth and self-esteem

• How to communicate your feelings, thoughts and hopes to the people who are important to you.

• We will find ways to enjoy the small things in life while you practice new ways of self care and staying present in the moment. 

Group Details:

• Day: Friday, 5:30p - 7:00p

• Dates: May 4, 11, 18, and 25 & June 1, 8, 15 and 22

• Cost: $65 per session for the 8-week group (includes materials / snacks) 

• Payment: $260 due at time of registration 

• Balance due on June 1st, 2018

 

About Rebecca the Group Facilitator:

Hi, I'm Rebecca, and I am glad you are here! I am a licensed child and

family therapist with over 15 years of experience. I enjoy helping young people find

their voices, heal hurts, and build confidence and healthy connections. And I especially love helping teen girls explore their inner worlds, and support them in connecting to self and others in order to create a balanced and joyful life.
